- Students will learn about the different maps and what is included on maps.
- Students will begin communications with the global pen pals.
- Students will be able to locate where their pen pal lives on a map. We will have a class map that shows where all of the pen pals live.

- 6. With guidance and support from adults, use technology to produce and publish writing (using keyboarding skills) as well as to interact and collaborate with others.
- 4. Physical and political maps have distinctive characteristics and purposes. Places can be located on a map by using the title, key, alphanumeric grid and cardinal directions.

- Begin Prezi Presentation about maps.
- Complete map worksheet on computer.
- Give student pen pal assignment and location.
- Have students write on class map where their pen pal lives
